Seesaw

At Oyster Park Primary Academy, we use ‘Seesaw’ a secure online learning platform for home learning. Seesaw is a digital portfolio tool which allows pupils to store their work in an online space and gain feedback from their teacher. It can be used on a desktop computer or tablet. It effectively enables teachers to set and share learning tasks and activities for children to use at home. Within school we have both a class journal and home learning journal. The class journal is used within school for children to share their work with their peers within their class; however for learning from home, only your child and their class teacher will be able to see the work shared. It will not be made public to others.

All children have an individual unique login code where they can access the work assigned to them by their teachers and where they can upload any home learning which they have completed at home. This can be pictures, writing or videos created in other app.
